Facebook has listened and are working on making some changes to the new design. Not sure how happy it will make the unhappy users, but it sounds like Facebook normally sticks with their decisions and doesn’t make changes based on user complaints much.

I like the idea of being able to filter posts from certain applications. With the current design I ended up filtering out one friend because I was constantly getting updates on an application he was using that I had no interest in.

Ran across some tips on how to customize the new facebook layout. Might as well try to get the most of it until it changes again.

I didn’t realize you could change the default filter.
