We had a good Thanksgiving celebration this year.  The only unfortunate news was that Lee, his parents and Emily were feeling under the weather.  I am hopeful that they will recover quickly. 

Lee and I cooked the turkey this year.  We always manage to do something funny when we cook the turkey.  This year we remembered we had to take the neck and gizzards out so we looked and felt around for them and Lee pulled something out.  We assumed what we had taken out was both of them.  Well, after cooking the turkey we realized we hadn’t gotten both out.  We had only taken the neck out and had left the gizzards in the turkey.  :)  Anyways, the turkey was good and I guess that is what matters.   Also, I can’t say that it made anyone sick because four of the people at our home were already sick.  He he. :)
